Remote Data Capture (RDC)

This software solution is an alternative way of depositing bulk or volume of check deposits electronically and automated. The system has the facility to scan the checks using an FB30UW high-speed Check Reader Scanner at corporate premises and the scanned digital images of the checks are uploaded into the bank OCS system for Credit Posting of the deposits to customer's account and Check Clearing process. In lieu of physically presenting the checks that are for deposit to the bank, this software solution is enable a convenient, and a faster way of depositing bulk checks.

Functional has partnered with InsiteMy to install and support a Checking Image Clearing System (CICS) primarily for the banking industry. CICS is an automated electronic system for clearing deposited checks between banks using digital image of the check through the Philippine Clearing House Corporation (PCHC), an agency designated by the Central Bank of the Philippines in processing the digital check deposits of banks.
